Van Lanschot Kempen partners with Collective Action to strengthen impact proposition

Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management has entered into a partnership with Collective Action, a 100% private markets impact specialist. The goal of this collaboration is to further broaden Van Lanschot Kempen’s knowledge and experience in impact investing and to gain better access to the market of impact solutions.

The partnership will strengthen Van Lanschot Kempen’s advisory services and provide clients with additional opportunities to invest in high-quality impact investments, particularly in the field of biodiversity.

Van Lanschot Kempen has offered impact solutions since 2018. While the impact market presents investors with unique investment opportunities, it also requires specialised expertise. By harnessing Collective Action’s specialised knowledge and network, Van Lanschot Kempen can offer more customised solutions to clients. Combined with its expertise in alternative investments, the partnership creates a stronger position in the impact investing market.

Wilse Graveland, Head of Institutional Solutions: "We are delighted with the collaboration with Collective Action. We see a strong increase in demand for high-quality impact solutions from our institutional clients. With Collective Action, we will provide institutional investors access to deep experience and expertise, along with a global network in impact investing. This allows us to select the best propositions within various themes, accelerate allocations, and build an impactful portfolio. Through this collaboration, we intend to strengthen the impact ecosystem within Van Lanschot Kempen."

Marlene Stam, Founding Partner Collective Action: “We are very excited about our partnership with Van Lanschot Kempen. Scale, expertise and professionalisation are essential ingredients in this fast growing and dynamic impact market. Dutch investors have ambitious goals, and stakeholders are increasingly realising that the capital they represent can not only generate financial returns but it can also make a positive impact on major social and environmental challenges. With our joint expertise we elevate knowledge and quality to a higher level, supporting investors who aim to take a leading role in impact investing, where risk management, return and impact are seamlessly integrated.”
