Van Lanschot Kempen will become main partner for StukjeNatuur

In a forest near the village of Chaam, in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant, Van Lanschot Kempen and Stichting StukjeNatuur yesterday confirmed their new partnership. Van Lanschot Kempen will become the first main partner of the foundation, which has been dedicating itself to climate-proof nature development throughout the Netherlands since 2020.

StukjeNatuur is aiming to plant 10 million native climate-resilient trees. The support of Van Lanschot Kempen will enable the foundation to realise its objective more quickly. They will jointly contribute to the transition to climate-proof forest in the Netherlands.

As part of this partnership, Van Lanschot Kempen, together with its clients and staff, will plant trees at various locations in the Netherlands. This will create three separate Van Lanschot Kempen forests, that will contribute to a better climate, more biodiversity and healthier living conditions.

Dirk van Hout, Director of StukjeNatuur: “We are pleased that Van Lanschot Kempen has selected us as a partner. Due to climate change, various types of trees can no longer survive in the Netherlands. StukjeNatuur plants native climate-resilient trees, which will enrich our forests and make them attractive for flora and fauna. With the support of Van Lanschot Kempen, we can now accelerate the transition to climate-proof forests.”

Maarten Edixhoven, Chair of the Management Board of Van Lanschot Kempen: “We are pleased that the partnership with StukjeNatuur will give us the opportunity to contribute to crucial nature conservation and biodiversity in the Netherlands. We believe it is important to involve our clients as well as our staff in a tangible manner: they can choose which forest they want to contribute to and visit it. StukjeNatuur uses a personal approach, that clearly resonates with Van Lanschot Kempen. That is why they are the perfect partner for the creation of the Van Lanschot Kempen forests.”
