Van Lanschot Kempen is the best private bank in the Netherlands in 2022

During the annual Global Private Banking Awards, organised by Professional Wealth Management and The Banker (Financial Times), Van Lanschot Kempen received the award for ‘Best private bank in the Netherlands 2022’.

The Global Private Banking Awards recognise private banks for distinguishing themselves in the past year through the execution of their business strategy, as well as through the inflow of assets and by obtaining high customer satisfaction scores.

According to the jury 'Van Lanschot Kempen triumphed in the Netherlands category, against a backdrop where several much larger banks typically compete for the attention of high net worth customers. Significant organic growth in managed assets was facilitated partly by the openness of the firm to partnerships and acquisitions in the Benelux region.'

The judges also noted how the bank is making available sophisticated strategies, such as sustainable agriculture investments - previously restricted to institutions - to a private client base.

Richard Bruens, Member of the Management Board of Van Lanschot Kempen, responsible for Private Banking: ‘We are proud of the recognition that this award brings. Each day, our teams devote themselves to providing our clients with the best possible tailored advice for their wealth. Our personal approach with the appropriate digital tooling is highly appreciated by our clients. The consistently high satisfaction scores (NPS) that our clients give us bear testimony to this.'

'This award is therefore a great compliment for our team and a testament to the personal and innovative approach we take. We want to thank our clients for the trust they place in us and we look forward to the future; to continue to create long-term value for them.’
