Van Lanschot Kempen appoints Eva Kalis as head of Philanthropy Services within Private Banking Netherlands, with effect from 1 July 2024. In this position, she will further shape the strategy and services relating to charities and societal impact, an integral and growing part of wealth management for our clients.

Eva Kalis joins from the Rijksmuseum, where she has worked for 24 years. For the last seven years, as Head of Development, she was responsible for all forms of additional income to the museum, including institutional funds, partnerships and donations of wealth and objects.

Richard Bruens, member of the Management Board at Van Lanschot Kempen: "For many clients who are thinking about passing on their wealth, societal impact is increasingly a consideration alongside risk and return. This requires specialised advice and a good understanding of the client's preferences. For us, this makes philanthropy an integral part of wealth management. We are therefore pleased with Eva's appointment. With her experience and excellent network, she will further shape and expand the Philanthropy Services department."

Ten years ago, Van Lanschot Kempen established the Philanthropy Services department to provide clients with advice on the role philanthropy can play into their wealth planning. Our team advises clients on a wide range of topics, including donating to charities, making impact investments, and assists in setting up foundations based on clients' wishes and beliefs.
