- a.s.r. increased its shareholding in Human Total Care (“HTC”)
- The transaction fits well in a.s.r.’s disability strategy to focus on sustainable employability and an integrated service and insurance offering. HTC’s strong capabilities in prevention will complement a.s.r.’s integrated service offering in the area of sustainable employability
- In general, there is a clear need to minimise the cost of absenteeism and improve employee productivity and satisfaction. This also supports the reduction in claims and premiums for disability insurance
- Kempen & Co advised a.s.r. on their increase of shareholding in HTC
- Previously, Kempen & Co also advised on the management buyout of Arboned and the sale of Arboned to HTC
