Van Lanschot nominates Manfred Schepers as member of Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of Van Lanschot announces its intention to appoint Manfred Schepers as member of the Supervisory Board.

Manfred Schepers (born 1960, Dutch national) worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development from 2006 to 2016, in roles including Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. After starting his career in banking in 1983 at Bankers Trust in London and New York, he went on to hold various senior positions in Europe, the United States and Asia during a 17-year career at SBC Warburg/UBS. Between 2004 and 2006, Manfred Schepers was Senior Managing Director of the Bond Market Association (AFME) in London.

The proposal to appoint Manfred Schepers will be tabled at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM), to be held on 18 May 2017. He has completed the suitability screening carried out by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB).

Van Lanschot’s AGM will be held in ’s-Hertogenbosch and starts at 2.00 pm CET. The agenda and further details are available on its corporate website. In addition to the usual annual agenda items, shareholders will be invited to vote on the reappointment of Jeanine Helthuis as a member of the Supervisory Board, and the proposal to change the Articles of Association of Van Lanschot NV, which includes adopting a new name for the company: Van Lanschot Kempen NV.
